Nick Gerrish then bowled a destructive spell of 4-21 to hold up the Bassett progress,however a ninth wicket partnership of 26 between Rahman and Lancaster took Bassett to 196-8.Bradford's reply got off to the worst possible start, Pinchen caught behind for a duck off the third ball,all the other batsmen got starts and at the 34th over Bradford were 95 for 5, enter Tony Laws who blasted 7 fours and two sixes in a belligerent innings to almost pull off a potential victory in partnership with the returning Adrian Kesby with a well struck 22, which kept Bradford in contention until the penultimate over,Bradford on Avon finished 16 runs short at 180 for 8.
