Match report The first game for the u11B's with no fewer than 5 players experiencing their first hard ball game. This was a difficult game against a good Beckington team on a very fast and bouncy artificial wicket. Much was learned about the team and so the journey begins to develop each player across the rest of the season. A point of note was Bethan's good guidance as Captain along with her pacey bowling. This test our 9yr old keeper, Harry, who regularly saw the ball flying at him chest high.

There was also an error in the game with pair 3 of the Beckington innings batting for 6 overs instead of 4. The BoA umpire forgot to send the players off, the Beckington umpire said nothing and the scorers said nothing too. A lessons to be learned there somewhere!
