Bradford on Avon Cricket Club Won By 7 Wickets

Match report Bradford on Avon lost the toss and fielded first v Swindon United Churches (SUC). The wicket had a lot of pace in it and opening bowlers Mishak Belfon and Paul Vooght exploited conditions wonderfully and SUC were soon 0-3 from 6 overs.
Wickets continued to fall regularly and at 39-6 from 15 overs things were looking bleak for the visitors.
However a resilient 50* from Garstang added a further 100 for the remaining 4 wickets and SUC posted 139 all out. Belfon returned exceptional figures of 9-5-18-4 whilst wickets were picked up by Kit Chapman 3, Paul Vooght 2 and David Carter 1.
The score didn't look enough and so it was proved when the Bradford opening pair of Ian Pinchen and Matt Goodall put on 109 before the first wicket fell. That was Pinchen for an excellent 75 runs off just 54 balls - 8 fours and 4 sixes. Goodall also fell for a well made 30 but BoA cantered home for a 7 wicket victory with almost 20 overs remaining.
