Match report A comprehensive victory for Bradford on Avon. Batting first Bradford were to thank Ian Pinchen (38) and a 40 run partnership between Jonny Andrews (15) and Dave Carter (27*) for the 8th wicket in getting them to 131 all out on a low and slow wicket.
The Beanacre reply struggled from the off with Kit Chapman taking two early wickets. The introduction of slow bowlers Matt Knight and Matthew Harrington reduced the home side from 21-2 to 26 all out, a remarkable collapse and figures of 5.1-4-1-5 for Matt Knight and 5-4-4-2 for Matthew Harrington standing out.
A much stiffer test is in store next week at Avebury.
