Skipper Danny Hall won the toss on a lovely day at Spye Park and inserted Spye Park 2's to bat.

This paid off immediately with Hall taking 2 wickets in the first over including off the first ball of the innings. Wickets fell regularly with Spye struggling to find a partnership thought out their innings finding themselves 45-9 off 28, their number 11 with a little determination and and extensive knowledge of cow corner and some perseverance, nearly double their score before he fell to Smiths bowling and P. Wilson taking a good catch in the deep leaving the visitors to chase 88 to win.

Teas were lovely!

This left G. Long and new opener P. Wilson to find the runs, Long fell after the second ball after being dropped off his first. Hall then came in and with a good partnership of 83 (Hall 61 N.O & Wilson N.O 22) they saw the game home comfortably in 17 over.

24 points attained and 2nd place in division 5. A good result on a great day for cricket
