Match report Another tight finish for Bradford on Avon as Matthew Harrington & Rufus Lakin edge the home team to victory. Earlier Bradford won the toss and invited Hinton Charterhouse to bat first on a pitch which found favour with opening bowlers Harrington (3-22) & (Laws 1-33) leaving Hinton at 60 for 4 at the 24 over mark. Chris Antrobus led a recovery however Bradford held on to the catches on offer and fine spells from Lakin (2-31)& Gerrish(2-28) & the returning Nick Coles the Hinton innings closed at 131-8. In reply Bradford lost early wickets to Newport & Borton who managed to find the conditions to their liking & to the spin twins Abingdon & Pocock who bowled tightly to swing the balance back in Hinton Charterhouse's favour, hoever the cause wasn't helped by dropping 6 catches & the man of the match Nick Gerrish who played the stand out innings of the match scoring 56 off of 58 balls. A narrow Bradford victory by 1 wicket.
