Members of Bradford on Avon cricket Club and volunteers rallied together over three days from Friday the 5th April through to Sunday the 7th April to embrace the true spirit of the ECB Nat West Cricket Force initiative, a national campaign geared to enhance, refurbish, build or spring clean cricket clubs to ensure they are better enviroments for members and the local community to enjoy.
The club got off to a flying start on the Friday with twelve British gas employees volunteering their labour and skills as part of the British Gas ‘get involved scheme’ which was awesome to see as this created the momentum for the whole weekend as club members and families joined in the action.
Thanks must go to businesses that rallied to the support of the club, British Gas, Travis Perkins, Dulux Trade Paints, Jewsons and donors of the new cricket benches in either gifting supplies,loan of tools or offering much needed labour to the project.
