We need one, or ideally two, volunteers to lead our ECB Dynamos programme. Dynamos is aimed at 8-9 year old children who are ready to play their first softball cricket.

What - A Dynamos Lead Activator is the key volunteer who will create a fun and inclusive environment for kids and parents alike. Activators should be enthusiastic, vibrant and motivated people who will inspire young children and create a fantastic all-round experience. Parents and guardians are invited to get involved and play cricket with their children. Children will use soft balls and light wooden bats.

Who - The Lead Activators must be 18 years old. They will have experience of cricket, it is by no means essential – first and foremost, activators are people with fantastic personal skills. New activators have to do an online induction and a face to face course, as well as have a DBS and take online safeguarding training.  

Support - The Dynamos games-based course content is provided to us by the ECB online and features a series of videos and simple instructions. Dynamos coloured clothing will also be provided to all activators and the club has all the equipment needed to deliver the sessions.

When - Friday 5th May for 8 weeks with sessions running from 6pm until 7:15pm. Activators will ideally need to arrive 15-20 mins early to set up. If it’s raining we may cancel the session and add a another date onto the end.
