Pavilion update

23 Mar 2022

BRADFORD on Avon Town Council is inviting local people to view new plans for a multi-use Community Pavilion in Culver Close.

In September 2021, the Town Council consulted with the public and user groups to shape the Community Pavilion at Culver Close designed by Frome-based firm NVB Architects.

The exhibitions will take place at the current Pavilion in Culver Close where the public will be able to comment on the plans.

The architects presented the plans to councillors and members of the public at the Town Development Committee meeting on Tuesday, 22 March.

After rigorous debate councillors unanimously agreed to accept the designs and to begin a series of public exhibitions.

The first events will take place on Friday, 25 March and Saturday, 26 March.

On Friday, the public is invited to view the plans from 2pm until 4pm, and on 26 March the exhibition will be open between 10am and 12pm.

A second public exhibition is planned for Friday, 8 April and Saturday, 9 April.

The Town Council is running these events to give the public opportunity to view the architect’s Community Pavilion proposals.

At the next Town Development Committee meeting on Tuesday, 10 May, councillors will discuss the plans further.
