Cricket is back!

We're glad to hear after the recent ECB/Government update that recreational cricket will be allowed to return from Saturday the 11th of July.

In preparation for upcoming fixtures TBA, we are asking everyone to put their availability down for the remainder of the season... do this now.

On the 11th we will be having an inter club game, for some much needed match practise. This will be a great opportunity to get a game on with a view to some form of competitive cricket for the rest of the season, along with this, we would love 5/6 (or more) volunteers to come down 2 hours before the game to help put the covers on the covers, the nets on the nets & have a quick tidy/clean around the dressing rooms (whilst maintaining the new 1m distancing).

Alongside the government news and ECB guidance, there will be changes, some of which you will already be aware of (sweat & spit etc) but we are awaiting further guidance as to how the game will change and process from there.
