Hello All,

The committee have been closely monitoring the current Corona Virus outbreak and awaiting an official ECB Statement to confirm what we all probably knew was coming.

It is with a heavy heart that effective immediately, all club events, games, training & social functions are herby postponed until further notice. This includes but isn't limiting to CricketForce, Quiz Night and the Senior Training sessions.

I'm sure this will not come as a shock to all, the ECB have just released a statement which can be read by clicking here

To surmise and quote...

“Following the Government’s latest advice around social distancing, it is with sadness and reluctance that we recommend that all forms of recreational cricket are for now suspended. This extends to training, pre-season friendlies and any associated cricket activity."

Whilst this is sad news, we must consider the health and wellbeing of all our playing and non playing members and their families. On a positive note, we will continue to keep and eye on the ever developing situation and hope this reaches its conclusion as soon as possible.

For further information regarding club activities, please keep an eye on emails and social media. We ask that all members keep their eye on government and NHS announcements regarding keeping yourselves safe during these challenging times and look forward to seeing you all soon!!
