A well-attended AGM was held on Monday 21st January and we are pleased to announce some new appointments for the 2019 season.
We have two newly appointed Saturday captains. The first eleven will be led by Paul Vooght and the second eleven by Dave Carter. Both have a wealth of experience and are looking forward to the challenge ahead. Winter training times and dates will be announced soon.
In the youth section, James Pike has taken over from Paul Wilson as youth cricket lead. The Club would like to thank Paul for his tremendous effort over the last 2 years for both his work as head of the youth section and for the improvement he has made on our ground and ground equipment.
Finally, Danny Hall has joined the committee as social, website and fund raising secretary with his main focus on organising some social events including the Bradford Bash, a Club game and a Sportsman’s dinner later in the year – watch this space. He will also be looking at re-invigorating The Spectator newsletter and updating and improving the website.
We are also looking to obtain new sponsorship deal as our existing agreement with Hemisphere has now expired – a new kit supplier will also be in place over the coming couple of months.
